A self-initiated book about Italian wine, spirits, and the culture around them — written, illustrated, photographed, and typeset as one project. Uncorked was an excuse to learn a subject properly and to practise the slowest kind of design: the kind you bind.
One subject, every discipline
Each chapter mixes short essays, labelled illustration, and photography from producers themselves. Doing every role on the same pages taught me more about editing than any client project — when you make everything, you have no one else to blame for the clutter.
